Each living thing, in each moment it exists, is writing notes - notes of the music of life. With each breath, each thought, each movement, we are writing notes and the Goddess is the note player. Because the Goddess is Perfect, She is only capable of perfection, thus only being able to play notes that are in perfect harmony.

In the days of the early people, they watched the Mother and Her interactions with all Her children there. From these observations a valuable lesson was learned. This lesson has served our people well for the millennia since that we have been journeying about the hearths of Earth.

The changes of the seasons, they observed, were Her facial expressions in response to the change of each quarter turn of the dance. The cycles of the Moon, they observed, reflected Her moods. They could easily see and understand the expression on Her face at these cardinal points of time, but they had to look to Her mirror to see and understand the nuances of Her moods. They looked to the lunar cycles to show them the ambient energies they felt the Mother projected during each.

They kept no track of yearly time as we do now in the Common Era. They spoke of what we call a year as one dance with the Mother around the Sun, or one full turning of the Mother. A test of time was also thought of as one full turning of the Mother, and the rising of one Sun into the next.

The Mother’s dance around the Sun was continual, and each round She made was thought to be like the turning of a wheel, and later came to be represented as the wheel of the year. They understood that the Mother was showing them the best times and ways to perform their daily functions of living.

If one wanted to describe, or teach another the steps of the dance, at which step would they begin? The motion of the wheel is continual, so where do you mark a beginning and an ending? One place is as good as another. So let us begin.

Our program is a Year and a Day program - one full turning of the Earth around the sun. The goal is for you to learn the basic - introductory material such as circle casting, a study of the Elements, and living a magical life. (plus more!)
